About me

The owner of Danie Mae Photography & Danie Mae Risque.

I am located in the heart of Schuylkill County, a city called Pottsville, in Pennsylvania. I started my journey when I was a sophomore in high School, and eventually became Pottsville's Photography Editor for the yearbook staff. I was one of the first group of "photog's" to lead the yearbook into digital photography. I started off by capturing sports, and candid photographs. I then went to Alvernia University and put my camera down for some time. I graduated in 2012 with a BA in Criminal Justice with a focus in Social work.

I have two beautiful girls, two crazy pups, and the most supportive Husband.  In my spare time, I frequent playing softball, taking my jeep out for some fresh air in the woods, or sitting around a fire with my friends.

I started my business journey in 2019, diving into sports photography partnering with Justin Reed from Skook news, eventually growing into capturing milestone sessions such as seniors, first birthdays, wedding photography and most importantly boudoir photography. I have become incredibly passionate and focused with my work, but boudoir holds a special place due to being able to see women grow confident with themselves, gain self-esteem, and feel glamourous.
